Active + Playful Nanny Needed in Greenwich, CT (Start: May or June 2024)
Active, Playful and well-traveled family in Greenwich, CT (Riverside) seeking a Live-In or Live-Out Nanny to join their family. They're currently working with a 24-hour baby nurse through the end of June and they have a temporary nanny with the until they find the perfect fit long term. The family employed their previous nanny for two years and hopes to find someone who will grow with their family and stay on for the next few years.
The family has a toddler and a 3-week old baby (born Mid-March 2024) and mom is presently on maternity leave. Their toddler thrives on positive interactions, a playful and engaging caregiver and the family practices a gentle, respectful parenting style centered on positive redirection. The ideal candidate is open to taking on additional tasks that help the home run smoothly. Their toddler will be in school from 8:30-2:30 starting in the fall and the baby will begin an 18 month program in the fall of 2025. The ideal candidate is open to adding in errands, child related organization, etc during their guaranteed hours with the family while the children are in school.
The ideal fit for this family is someone capable of handling a toddler and infant, keeping on a routine throughout the day, engaging in active play and mapping out a fun day for the children. Someone organized, detail oriented and a team-player is a huge plus!
Age of Child: 2 years and 3 weeks
Start date: Anytime between now and Early June 2024
Schedule: Monday- Friday 7am-4pm or 7am-5pm
Compensation: Offering an hourly rate between $25-35+/hr
Benefits: 2 weeks vacation, sick days, open on benefits for the perfect fit
Qualifications:
Have at least 2 years of experience caring for children, one of those being in-home as a private nanny.
Infant experience with multiple children at once, including infants
Familiarity with AAP Guidelines, Safe Sleep, Sticking to an Infant Sleep Schedule, Infant Play + Development
Clean Driving Record and History of Driving Children While Nannying
Open to Signing an NDA and sharing location while on outings
