  • A nanny supports your daily family routines, a night nanny helps you get overnight rest, and an NCS brings specialized expertise in newborns. Harmony helps you decide which is right for your season of parenthood.

  • We’ll talk through your family’s schedule, goals, and stress points to determine the right balance of care.

  • Yes—baby laundry, bottles, general baby related tidying are all standard. Anything outside of child-related tasks is discussed in advance and may come with additional costs. Daytime Postpartum Doulas can assist with meal-prep, household tidying, washing adult dishes at their higher PPD rate.

  • All Harmony caregivers are experienced, vetted, CPR/first aid certified, and informed on safe sleep practices as a part of our onboarding process. From there, each caregiver has a unique background and training based on their interests and support style.

  • Yes. Every nanny is background-checked and verified before they ever step into your home.

  • Harmony plays “caregiver matchmaker.” We take time to know your family’s routines, values, and parenting style to ensure the right fit.

  • Rates vary by experience and duties. We guide families through market standards to ensure fair, competitive compensation. You can expect to pay $25-35/hr for a full-time nanny for one baby in most areas for a Nanny that is your W2 employee. Our average nanny placement is $28-32/hr.

For concierge newborn care, you can expect to pay $30-60+/hr depending on your location, available caregivers, number of babies and experience level of the caregiver.

  • Many of our nannies have experience shaping healthy habits while respecting your family’s preferences. They are not however, expert sleep trainers. This is a job for a sleep consultant or NCS.

  • Harmony can provide vetted backup caregivers so you’re never without support. Ultimately, this is based on availability and it’s best practice to respect your nanny’s need to rest, recover and / or recharge when needed.

  • Nanny care offers one-on-one attention, flexibility, fewer illnesses, and a consistent caregiver your child bonds with.

  • For Nanny Placements: Harmony helps you onboard your new employee, set up a work agreement as well as payroll as a W2 employee, per the DOL and IRS guidelines for household staff.

For NCS: We maintain a contract with the family and take a deposit to hold your booking. You’ll be billed weekly upon the start of your care through our secure billing portal.

  • Yes. Most nannies encourage age-appropriate play, assist with homework, and some are available for travel to maintain consistency.

NCS also support milestones & travel if available. They generally only care for the baby, unless specifically contracted to assist with other children.
