New Parent Education Class
Swaddling, Soothing a Crying Baby. The 5 S's, Bathing, Dressing and Diapering. Circumcision and Umbilical Care, Hunger Cues, Baby Communication, Understanding Newborn Sleep, Safe Sleep, Infant Development, Milestones, Science Behind Sleep, Baby-wearing, In-depth Nutrition, GI Issues, Infant Massage, Breastfeeding and Basic Lactation, Routines, Nursery Walkthrough,Follow Up Support and Questions.
Breastfeeding Education Class
An in-depth walkthrough of realistic expectations for breastfeeding both short term and long term with a Certified Lactation Consultant (CLC) in addition to a pump and product consultation. This class with prepare you to exclusively breastfeed or produce breastmilk for your newborn in accordance with up-to-date evidence based best practice information. You’ll have ongoing access post-birth to a Lactation Professional to help ensure milk-production success.
Science Behind Sleep
Most of our clients book 12-16 weeks and find their babies sleeping through the night by the end of this time. In the event that a shorter time period is a better fit for your family (2-10 weeks), it is a great step to take a class on newborn and infant sleep to prepare yourself to set up a great foundation for sleep that is personalized for your family.
