This intentional, loving Dallas family is seeking a full-time Nanny & Family Assistant who will be a true partner to their household. Both parents work full-time (Mom is a trial lawyer who travels frequently; Dad’s work schedule varies) and want someone who brings reliability, warmth, and independence to their home.

🧸 What You’ll Be Doing

Childcare & Daily Support

  • Provide nurturing, structured care for their 6-mo baby boy who is the main charge for this role

  • Engage with the 7- and 10-year-old girls — another nanny is present in the home for them M-F

  • Organize and maintain consistent routines (naps, meals, play, etc.)

  • Age-appropriate outings and developmental play

  • Help foster confidence, responsibility, and curiosity

Family Assistant Responsibilities

  • Help keep household flow smooth and efficient

  • Manage service apps, household vendors, and proactive daily needs

  • Coordinate kid logistics with confidence and clarity

  • Partner with parents on systems that simplify life

  • Light household tidying connected to childcare

  • Serve as a dependable right-hand support — not a task follower

Travel Support

This family travels throughout the year (spring break, summer, holidays, weekends), and they’d love someone who is willing and excited to travel with them. Travel will be paid hourly + OT + travel stipends where applicable.

  • Comfortable with flexible hours (7am start / 7–8pm end when needed)

  • Confident coming in and owning the role, paving your own way within the household to be the lead-team player and delegate tasks to other staff to make life easier for these busy working parents

📅Typical Schedule

  • 50 hours/week, generally 8am-6pm, nanny must be flexible to come in early or stay later based on parent’s communicated work schedule, especially when one has court or is traveling 

  • Ability to adapt schedule when parents travel or have long days

  • Occasional overnights and extended care when needed

  • Strong, safe driving skills 🚗

  • Passport + willingness to travel

  • Comfortable with extended overnights

  • Confident caring for a six month old and engaging with the older kiddos

  • Ability to help with laundry, tidying, and organizing

  • Keeps up to date on childhood vaccines including MMR, TDAP and Flu*

💰 Compensation & Perks

  • $25-30+/hr DOE — competitive, on the books and flexible for the *perfect* candidate, which equates to $71,500 - $85,800 yearly compensation.

  • 50 Guaranteed hours each week

  • 2–3 weeks paid vacation (3 weeks for the perfect candidate)

  • 3–5 personal/sick days

  • Paid holidays include Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day After Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day.  

  • Potential health stipend ($200–$300/mo)

  • Travel opportunities with the family, paid at OT + hourly

  • Holiday bonuses (1–2 weeks pay for strong fit)

Estimated Travel Dates for 2026

Trips

  • 🌟 One week at Spring Break

  • 🌟 Two Weeks in the Summer

  • 🌟 One week at Thanksgiving (usually a family trip)

  • 🌟 7-10 days around Christmas and New Years

Weekends

🌟 The family has a Lakehouse 55 miles from Dallas ( 1 hr 10 minutes from Downtown) and spends a few weekends in the summer and would love for their nanny to either be willing to join them OR come down for work on Thursday & Friday then go home for the weekend, occasionally.
