A loving family in Flower Mound is seeking a warm, proactive, and emotionally attuned nanny to care for their sweet 4-month-old daughter. This position is ideal for a candidate with a deep love for young children, an understanding of infant development, and a calm, gentle presence.

The family also has a fun and independent 2.5-year-old son who will only occasionally be home when not in preschool. Mom and Dad both work from home but are very busy during work hours,  they’re looking for a confident caregiver to be a true partner in their daughter’s care and development.

They’re seeking someone who brings a kind, authoritative approach to parenting—someone who can hold space for big feelings, take initiative, and provide nurturing, enriching care throughout the day. This is a wonderful opportunity to work with a thoughtful, communicative family who values collaboration, trust, and a strong caregiver relationship.

• Start Date:  June 9th 2025

  End Date: February 2026

  
  Schedule:
  Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
  9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  21 hours/week guaranteed

  Compensation:
  $23–$27/hr DOE
  3 paid sick days
  6 paid vacation days
  W-2 employment via payroll service

  Travel:
  No travel required with the family
  Family may travel once during the contract period, but nanny will not be expected to travel

  Qualifications:

  • Recent nanny experience with infants

  • Familiarity with infant milestones and developmental play

  • Strong communication skills and a warm, collaborative presence

  • Confidence maintaining and adjusting baby’s daily routine

  • Legal to work in the U.S. and willing to be paid legally

  • Experience with gentle/authoritative caregiving approaches

  • Comfortable with dogs (no pet care required)

  • Happy to gently help guide baby toward a consistent nap schedule

  Responsibilities Include:

  • All baby-related care: feeding, diapering, soothing, playtime, and naps

  • Supporting baby’s development through reading, singing, walks, and play

  • Helping baby girl transition into a nap routine and future sleep training

  • Light nursery upkeep (wiping down changing pad, refreshing crib sheets, tidying books and toys, managing laundry for baby items)

  • Occasional care for big brother on days he’s home, including offering crafts, reading, walks, and park time

  • No housekeeping, meal prep, or pet care expected
